Y.C. Dong

was born in the southern of china, a scenery city called Guilin. Came from a family of self-made interior designer father and a basketball player mother, which cultivated her strong curiosities and passion for art, design and photography at early age. Y.C started practicing Chinese Calligraphy and sketching since age six. Immigrated with her mother to San Francisco California at age fifteen. Y.C. took a long break from the creative world until she was invited to model for her friend in the photo studio at San Jose State University. Since then she was finally able to connect the dots of what she had learned and continually expanding interests in print making, alternative process, sculpture and jewelry making. After attained a degree of Bachelor of Fine Art in Photography and minor in Graphic Design, Y.C. decided to move to New York to pursue fashion photography and create her own stories.
